He also agre...s, es proposed in peragraph 4 of that letter, that Sir Robert Craigie should be instructed to deliver at the same time a strongly worded protest at t.e attack on the Company's aircraft "Delia". He would, however, suggest tint a reference to the "route and timetable" of the service should be substituted for the reference to the "course and timetable". The Japanese are aware of the normal route of the service to Hong Kong, but it would be impracticable to keep the informed in advance of deviations from course on accomt of weather conditions.
